Type of Sale: Sealed bid. Twenty percent down at contract signing, balance due before logging begins but no later then December 1, 2013. The buyer will have until September 1, 2014 to remove the timber.

Location: Approximately 7 miles northeast of Gosport, Indiana in the W ½, SE¼, SW¼ of Section 2, T11N, R2W, of Ray Township. From Gosport, take Hwy 67 east approximately 4 mile to Arthur Road on the east edge of Whitaker. Turn left (north) on Arthur Rd. and go 3.5 miles to the stop sign, which is Baseline Rd. Turn right on Baseline Rd. and go 0.3 miles to the Burnett driveway. The mailbox reads 9741 W. Baseline Road, Springvale Farm. You can access the marked area from behind the Burnett residence or from the south end of the property, where Ron’s son Michael Burnett (mailbox # 1187) lives. See the map on back.

Best management logging practices are required during the harvest operation. Purchaser will be required to carry insurance. A summary of diameter and volume distributions by species and by tract is available upon request. Tract #1 is a classified forest and certified under FSC certificate SCS-FM/COC-000123N as “FSC Pure”.
