Type of Sale:  Sealed bids.  Forty percent down at contract signing, balance due by November 1,2014 or before logging begins, whichever comes first.  Buyer will have until November 1, 2015 to remove the timber.

Location:  Location:  Approximately 5 miles west of Huntingburg, Indiana in part of the NW¼ of Section 11, T3S, R6W in Cass Township.  From the intersection of Hwy 231 & Hwy 64 in Huntingburg, take Hwy 64 west 4 miles to Hwy 161.  Turn south on Hwy 161 toward Holland, Indiana and go 2 miles to Old State Road 64.  Turn right (west) on Old State Road 64 and travel 0.8 miles to a private lane on your right.  (For GPS use – McMurtrie Lake, Holland, IN 47541).  This gravel lane is just past CR 750 W on your left.  Turn right in the lane and the marked timber is on your right and raps around McMurtrie Lake to the east & north.  It can be seen by following the lane back to the Kruger and Boeglin residence.  See map on back.

 Remarks: Trees are marked with blue paint.  Seller reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.  The owner and their agents make no guarantees of the board feet, number, or quality of trees listed in the timber tally.  Bidders are urged to satisfy themselves as to type, quality, and quantity of timber offered for sale.  Buyer must have an Indiana timber buyer’s license.  Best management logging practices are required during the harvest operation.  Purchaser will be required to carry insurance.  A summary of diameter and volume distributions by species is available upon request.
