Type of SaleSealed bids.  Twenty percent down at contract signing, balance due by August 1,2015 or before logging begins, whichever comes first.  Buyer will have until December 1, 2015 to remove the timber.

Location:  Located 2 miles northwest of Velpen and 5.25 miles east of Winslow, IN, in the N ½ of the SE ¼ of Sec. 31, T1S, R6W in Marion Township.  From the intersection of Hwy 56 and Hwy 257 (known as Otwell Jct.), go south on Hwy 257 for 3.0 miles to CR 200 S.  Turn right (west) on CR 200 S. and go 1.0 miles to the “T”.  Turn left (south) on CR 900 E and go 0.5 miles to CR 250 S.  Turn right (west) on CR 250 S.  The Backer property begins about 0.15 miles on the left.  The first lane and possible log yard is 0.25 miles from CR 900 E and the second lane, possible log yard and bid opening site is 0.4 miles from 900 E.   If coming from the south, turn left (west) on CR 900 E in Velpen, from Hwy 257.  This is the road immediately south of the railroad tracks.  Follow 900 E for 2.2 miles to CR 250 S and turn left (west) to the property.   See map on back.
