Location: Approximately 3 miles east of Ferdinand, Indiana in the NW ¼ of the SW ¼ of Sec. 25, T3S, R4W, Ferdinand Township. From the town of Ferdinand take State Hwy 264 east 2.9 miles to CR 475 E. Turn right onto CR 475 E and go 1.75 miles. This puts you at the west edge of the woods, which is on both sides of the road. There will be 2 black mailboxes on the left and a rock drive on the right. Immediately past the mailboxes and right across from the drive, is the beginning of the Schneider/Roe property (10683 S475E, Ferdinand, IN 47532). On the left is a lane that enters the property and goes to an old log yard. The marked timber is only on the east side of the county road to the north, east and south of the log yard. This is a classified forest and certified under FSC certificate SCS-FM/COC-000123N as “FSC 100%”. A summary of diameter and volume distributions by species is available upon request.
