Type of SaleSealed or phone bids.  25% down at contract signing, with the balance due by December 1st, 2016 or when logging begins, whichever comes first.  Buyer will have until December 1, 2017 to remove timber.

LocationApproximately 5 miles north of Jasper in the SE ¼ of Sec. 34, T1N, R5W in Boone Township.  From the intersection of Hwy 231 and Baden Strasse, which is at the light in front of Wal-Mart on the north side of Jasper, go north on Hwy 231, 2.5 miles to county road Old SR 45.  Turn left on Old SR 45 and go ½  mile to CR 600 N.  Turn left on 600 N and go about 1.1 miles to the intersection of CR 200 W.  The Mauntel property lies to the north and west of this intersection.  Continue west on 600 N for ¼ mile to the new bridge over Mill Creek.  From here the marked timber lies on the right (north) on both sides of the creek.

Remarks:  Trees are marked with blue paint.  Seller reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.  The owner and their agents make no guarantees of the board feet, number, or quality of trees listed in the timber tally.  Bidders are urged to satisfy themselves as to type, quality, and quantity of timber offered for sale.  Buyer must have an Indiana timber buyer’s license.  Best management logging practices are required during the harvest operation.  Purchaser will be required to carry both workers comp and liability insurance.  Stand #1 is Classified Forest and certified under FSC certificate SCS-FM/COC-000123N as “FSC 100%”.  A detailed summary of diameter and volume distributions by species and stand is available upon request.
