Type of Sale:  Sealed or phone bids.  Twenty five percent down at contract signing, balance due by November 1^st, 2016 or before logging begins, whichever comes first.  Buyer will have until December 1^st, 2017 to remove the timber.

Location:  Approximately 6.6 miles west of Mt. Vernon in the SW ¼, Sec. 8, T7S, R14W in Black Township.  From the intersection of SR 69 and SR 62, located about 2.75 miles west of downtown Mt. Vernon, go west on SR 62.  The road starts to curve to the right in about 3 miles.  At about 3.1 miles, E. Herman Island Rd intersects on the left.  This is the 1^st road as you go into the curve.  Go south on E. Herman Island Rd less than 0.1 miles and take the first road on the right.  This is Herman Island Rd.  Go west on Herman Island Rd about 1 mile to the end of the road.  As you approach this point the marked woods is across the crop field on the left.  At the end of the road there are two gates, one going straight, and one on the left.  The one on the left leads back to the cabin and the woods.  The gate is double locked with the combination on the one lock 6472.  You can proceed through the gate to look at the timber.
