Type of SaleSealed or phone bids. Twenty percent down at contract signing, with balance due by October 1,2014 or before logging begins, whichever comes first.  Buyer will have two years to remove the timber. 

Owner:  Menke Enterprises, Inc.

Location:  Approximately 5.0 miles northeast of Salem, Indiana in part of the NW¼ of Section 27, T3N, R4E, Washington Township; and part of the SW¼ of Section 22, T3N, R4E, Monroe Township.  From the intersection of Hwy 135 & Hwy 56 in Salem, travel north on Hwy 135 for 3.7 miles to Delaney Park Rd. on your right (east).  Turn east on Delaney Park Rd. and follow it 1.8 miles east then turning north go 0.6 miles to a gravel lane on your left (west) that leads back to the marked timber.  This lane is immediately past the 2nd house on your left after the Delaney Park Road makes a 90 degree turn to the left (north).  See the map on back.

Remarks: Trees are marked with blue paint.  Seller reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.  Stands 1 & 2 will be sold as one sale.  The owner and their agents make no guarantees of the board feet, number, or quality of trees listed in the timber tally.  Bidders are urged to satisfy themselves as to type, quality, and quantity of timber offered for sale.  Buyer must have an Indiana timber buyer’s license.  Best management logging practices are required during the harvest operation.  Purchaser will be required to carry insurance.  A summary of diameter and volume distributions by species is available upon request.  Both stands are classified forest and certified under FSC certificate SCS-FM/COC-000123N as “FSC 100%”.
