Type of SaleSealed bids. Twenty percent down at contract signing, balance due by December 1, 2014 or before logging begins, whichever comes first.  Buyer will have until November 15, 2015 to remove the timber.

Location:  Location:  9079 E Schnellville Rd, Schnellville, IN 47580.  Approximately 11.5 miles southeast of Jasper, IN and 2.5 miles west of Birdseye, IN; in the SW¼ of Section 15 and the part of the NW¼ of Section 22, both being in T2S, R3W in Jefferson Township.  From the intersection of Hwy 64 and Hwy 145 in Birdseye, go west on 64 about 0.8 miles to Schnellville Road.  Deb’s Truckstop is at this intersection.  Go north (right) on Schnellville Road for approximately 2.0 miles to the driveway entering the Haas property.  The driveway goes through the marked timber.  From Jasper, Schnellville Road is at a stop light off of Hwy 162 on the south side of town, with the county highway garage at this intersection.  Take the Schnellville Road east for about 9.3 miles to the Haas driveway entering the property.  This is the third driveway past the Schnellville Mill & Hardware of your left.   See map on back.

Remarks: Trees are marked with blue paint.  Sellers reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids.  The owners and their agents make no guarantees of the board feet, number, or quality of trees listed in the timber tally.  Bidders are urged to satisfy themselves as to type, quality, and quantity of timber offered for sale.  Buyer must have an Indiana timber buyer’s license.  Best management logging practices are required during the harvest operation.  Purchaser will be required to carry insurance. All 3 stands will be sold as one sale, but the successful bidder will be asked to separate their bid by owners, enter into separate contracts, and make payment by separate checks.   A summary of diameter and volume distributions by species is available upon request.
