Type of Sale: Sealed or phone bids for only the North Tract. 15% down at contract signing, balance due by October 1, 2016 or before logging begins, whichever comes first. Buyer has 2 years to remove the timber.

Location: The north tract is approximately 13.5 miles northwest of Bedford or 10.8 miles southeast of Bloomfield in the N½, NW¼, of Section 16, T6N, R3E in Jackson Township. Beginning at the intersection of SR 45 and SR 58, which is in front of the Crane Bloomington gate, go north on SR 45 for 3.1 miles to Wright Road, also identified as CR 425 S. Turn left on this road and continue about 0.4 miles. At the intersection of Wright Road and Jacob Lane to your right will be a lane into the North Tract. This is the log yard area and the marked timber lies to the north, east and west of this lane. The bid opening for both the South Tract and North Tract will be at this North Tract yarding area. The owners and their agents make no guarantees of the board feet, number, or quality of trees listed in the timber tally. Bidders are urged to satisfy themselves as to type, quality, and quantity of timber offered for sale. Buyer must have an Indiana timber buyer’s license. Best management logging practices are required during the harvest operation. Purchaser will be required to carry insurance. A summary of diameter and volume distributions by species is available upon request. This is a classified forest and certified under FSC certificate SCS-FM/COC-000123N as “FSC 100%”.
