Type of SaleSealed or phone bids.  Twenty five percent down at contract signing, balance due by November 1, 2016 or before logging begins, whichever comes first.  Buyer will have until December 1, 2017 to remove the timber.

Owner:  Taylor Family

Location:  Approximately 3.5 miles southwest of Birdseye in the NE ¼, SE ¼, Sec. 10 and the N ½, SW¼ , Sec. 11, T3S, R3W in Jefferson Township.  From the intersection of SR 64 and SR 145 in Birdseye, go south on 145 for 3.9 miles to Taylor Hollow Rd.  From I-64 at Exit 72 (Birdseye/Bristow Exit) take 145 north for 3.2 miles to Taylor Hollow Rd.  Turn west on Taylor Hollow Rd and go approx. 0.7 miles.  This is where the south line of the Taylor property crosses the road.  The marked timber lies to the west and north of this location.  Continue on Taylor Hollow Rd. another 0.5 miles.  As the road curves to the right a residence is located on the left.  Turn into the residence driveway, then immediately turn right.  This is a county road leading to the Taylor Cemetery.  The bid opening will be on the road to the Taylor Cemetery.

Remarks: Trees are marked with blue paint.  Seller reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.  The owner and their agents make no guarantees of the board feet, number, or quality of trees listed in the timber tally.  Bidders are urged to satisfy themselves as to type, quality, and quantity of timber offered for sale.  Buyer must have an Indiana timber buyer’s license.  Best management logging practices are required during the harvest operation.  Purchaser will be required to carry general liability insurance & workers’ compensation.   This is a second sale for MRM.  A summary of diameter and volume distributions by species is available upon request.
