Type of SaleSealed or phone bids.  Fifteen percent down at contract signing, balance due by November 1, 2016 or before logging begins, whichever comes first.  Buyer will have until December 1, 2017 to remove the timber.

Location:  Approximately 5 miles south of New Harmony, Indiana in the S½, SE¼, and the E½ , SW¼, of Section 25 and the E½, NW¼, and the W½, NE¼, of Section 36,  both in T5S, R14W, Lynn Township.  From the I-64 & Hwy 69 interchange (Exit 4), turn south on Hwy 69 toward New Harmony.  In approximately 11.0 miles, look for Old Plank Rd (CR 130 N) on the right.  This is 1.8 miles south of Hwy 269 (the entrance Hwy to Harmony State Park).  Turn onto Old Plank Rd and go 0.4 miles to Harmony Rd on your right.  Turn right on Harmony Rd and follow road to the south and west.  At this point, the property on the right of Harmony Rd is the Hinderliter property.  The marked areas for harvest are identified on the property map.     CONTACT MRM FOR MAP

Remarks:  Trees are marked with blue paint.  Seller reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.  The owner and their agents make no guarantees of the board feet, number, or quality of trees listed in the timber tally.  Bidders are urged to satisfy themselves as to type, quality, and quantity of timber offered for sale.  Buyer must have an Indiana timber buyer’s license.  Best management logging practices are required during the harvest operation.  Purchaser will be required to carry general liability insurance & workers’ compensation.   A summary of diameter and volume distributions by species for the entire sale is available upon request.  There is also a summary for each of the 5 marked areas should you want that.
